Gluten free doesn’t mean missing out on traditions of Chistmas’ past. Maybe it just means missing out on that bloated feeling and no longer having to get horizontal on the couch to sleep off Christmas dinner. We’ve scoured Singapore to bring you a list of great places for all your Christmas favourites – gloriously gluten-free, naturally!

Meats
Don’t fret over finding suitable meats anymore: gluten-free ham and turkey for your Christmas dinner are just a few clicks away at SuperNature’s online store. Or pop by Marks & Spencer and look out for meat, jam, biscuits etc bearing gluten-free labels – what a fuss-free way to shop (just don’t get distracted by the chocolates!).

Pasta & Quinoa
Planning to whip up a storm with Christmas day leftovers to feed the extended family? Gluten-free products like pastas, cheese and quinoa are also available at SuperNature or at Brown Rice Paradise (these guys do home delivery too).

Cakes
Mmm… there’s nothing like a rich, moist chocolate cake to give you that extra oomph at Christmas parties. Check out Delcie’s Desserts, which has a substantial list of gluten-free delights and even a vegan Christmas fruitcake for ordering online too. Jonathan’s, a bakery-cum-restaurant with a completely gluten-free kitchen, also serves up yummy chocolate cake and the like. Or head to Baker & Cook for a slice of their orange almond cake!

Baking products
Whether you’re making fruit mince tarts or angel cakes this December, finding gluten-free baking products can be challenging. Try getting your flour and baking powder from The Organic Grocer or Expat FoodHall, e-retailers that brings in food from the UK, parts of Europe and South Africa! Phoon Huat, a popular wholesale supplier for baking and confectionery ingredients, also stocks gluten-free options at physical stores scattered island-wide.
