Coffee is pretty much a religion in Singapore, and the city has no shortage of excellent brews. So it’s hardly a surprise when we heard that the world’s first café-hopping festival Café Fest, organised by events and public relations start-up Tell Great Little Stories (TGLS), is taking place here next month.
As many as 12 of Singapore’s most outstanding coffee spots will be setting up booths at the two-day event, delivering specialty brews and an array of lip-smacking pastries at the picturesque Waterfront Promenade at Marina Bay. Get really excited, coffee junkies: participating homegrown establishments include Jimmy Monkey, Toby’s Estate, Common Man Coffee Roaasters, and Maison Ikkoku.
There will also be live music performances by local talents, including 53A, alternative pop-rock group The Sessionists, experimental musician Pixel Apartment. Good coffee, good food, and good music – what more could we ask?
