Weekend markets are getting real big these days – most of them boast over 50 vendors spanning a multitude of creative disciplines. And the latest in town to pique our interest is Creatory, a two-day festival that gathers some of the city’s brightest stars in a factory takeover.
Don’t hold your breath – there are food, drink, art, design, architecture, retail and entertainment to be had at this massive, one-of-a-kind pop-up, which is taking place in a funky repurposed eight-storey factory now called (no giggles, please) Tasty Plaza.
Look forward to progressive culinary experiences hosted by some of Singapore’s hottest restaurants, including Artichoke, Tippling Club, 2am:dessertbar, and kilo, alongside provocative art showcases by the likes of Kult and Hjher, live music performances, plus a series of cool workshops such as silk screening and terrarium crafting classes from The General Company. Matzo Gallery, Haystakt, Xtra Furniture, and Ong Shunmugam will also be retailing their products at Creatory as well.
That’s not all: stay on after eating, drinking and shopping for the after parties, with DJ aces like Oliver Osborne and KFC manning the decks from 11pm until late. For more information about the full list of participating merchants, head over to CREATORY’s website.
