Like many couples, Bonnie Ashley and Neil Downie share a home, a dog and a cat, a love of food and travelling. But they’re also the creative forces behind Melbourne-based homewares label Bonnie and Neil.
We have been following this dynamic duo since they launched into the international design scene in 2010, and we are head over heels with their latest range – Archipelago.
Bonnie and Neil are known for their vibrant ranges of unique screen printed products for the home. Their approach to design is rather intuitive, involving a combination of traditional printing methods paired with unique applications they’ve developed over the years.
Their latest range, Archipelago is no exception.
The range uses their previous collection South Pacific as a source of inspiration but they’ve also drawn fresh ideas from the age of exploration and undiscovered lands specifically focusing on rainforests and wildlife.
Archipelago takes influences from pacific patterns and colour – you’ll even see a few old favourites from the South Pacific range in new colourways, and in the form of new products including their pineapple and coconut design on ceramic plates!
And we do love a coconut or two.
To get your Bonnie and Neil fix in Singapore, quickstep it over to Shiva Designs, their exclusive distributor in Singapore – and if you pay attention, you will notice Shiva Designs is on sale this July. So hop to it.
