Alternatively, treat your date to Stellar’s lavish Valentine’s weekend brunch – Champagne Lust, where you can sip on champagne galore while savouring the restaurant’s signature brunch dishes. It’s happening this Sunday 16 Feb, and priced at $170++ per adult and $55+ per child.
Calling all beer chuggers enthusiasts, tickets to Beerfest Asia 2014 (happening 12-15 June 2014) are out on Sistic! Prices start from $15, inclusive of a free beer, and you’ll get entry into beer heaven – with over 400 types of beers on sale, beer tasting workshops, delish grub to pair with your drinks, and world-class comedy acts for entertainment. Fam-friendly Picotin Express, on Figaro Street, is rolling out a brand new Lazy Sunday Lunch – think all-you-can-eat starters and desserts alongside a spread of popular English roasts. Lunch is served from 12pm, all the way till 330pm, so there’s no reason to get out of bed early! Littlies (under 12 years old) can dig into a kid’s portion of roast of the day, buffet of starters and desserts, and free-flow drinks, for $20++. Is that a fab deal or what! Adults, get ready to fork out $45++ per person, or $80++ if you wish to have a go at free flow draft beer, chardonnay, or shiraz.
Asia’s 50 best restaurants celebrate their 2014 awards with a star-studded gastronomic weekend, bringing together top chefs from around the globe to collaborate with our own home-grown talents. Kicking off on 21 Feb, Joan Roca aka head chef at El Celler de Can Roca, (The S. Pellegrino World’s Best Restaurant 2013) will be teaming up with Andre Chiang, from Restaurant Andre, (The S.Pellegrino Best Restaurant in Singapore) to craft a seven-course degustation menu. You can expect a tasteful blend of Roca’s innovative Catalan cooking and Chiang’s French nouvelle cuisine with Mediterranean accents.
