Our Korner (L) Morsi & Sorsi (R)
Sink your teeth into traditional Italian street food favourites known as stuzzichini, and other Italian dishes, at Morsi & Sorsi. This new kid on the block, along Telok Ayer Street, is Chef Lino Sauro’s new gastronomic venture into contemporary Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Grab the panelle (deep fried chick pea fritters) or fish in carpione (lightly cooked snapper served in brine and onions) or go for the rich homemade lasagne and assorted sandwiches. We vote for the foccaccia evoo, a lovely grilled number with zucchini, radicchio, toma cheese and a dash of truffle mayonnaise.
Experience an authentic Deutsch Christmas this year with Brotzeit’s launch of its weihnachtspfandl (family Christmas pan). Available at all five outlets from 16 Dec onwards, the weihnachtspfandl includes a generous serving of honey glazed roast duck, stuffed turkey breast, and side dishes. Complete the festive feast with another seasonal specialty, beef wellington, and a glass of homemade heisser glühwein (traditional German wine spiced with cinnamon and cloves). Guten appétit!
