Stroll through the rustic enclave of Little India and you may be surprised to spot a quaint French restaurant on the ground floor of Wanderlust Hotel. It’s none other than Cocotte – a restaurant-bar with a penchant for unpretentious communal French dining.
Head Chef Anthony Yeoh was educated in Economics from a university down under, but returned to Singapore for a stint as DJ at Symphony 92.4. His love of food drove him to enrol at the At-Sunrice Culinary Academy. Then upon graduation, he set up a personal home chef business till he met hip hotelier Loh Lik Peng (owner of Wanderlust) – and the rest, c’est l’histoire.
A collaboration between the two talented foodies, Cocotte introduces a casual take on French cuisine with trademark delicacies straight from a french country kitchen. Just as families commune over meals, Cocotte encourages the same interaction between diners with a slew of hearty dishes available in sharing portions.
Their menu embraces provenance and seasonality so expect fresh seasonal creations and a resplendent variety of homemade desserts and pastries.
