We started the week on a high note with talks of a possible travel bubble with Australia, so it’s only apt that we end it with a bang. Ditch the worries of the weekday grind and unwind with our list of things to do this weekend. We’ve got cool theatre shows, delish food events, virtual happenings and loads more!
Fun things to do this weekend
1. Watch: Junior Theater: ‘Balloonacy’ Mime Comedy
All weekend

This weekend, grab your little ones and head to Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands for a one-of-a-kind theatre production. BASE Entertainment Asia and Centre Stage School of the Arts come together for Balloonacy: an award-winning, one-man no-dialogue show. Yes, the show uses the imaginative potential of stage play and the elements of mime and clownery to narrate its story. The plot alone will tug at your heartstrings! A cranky old man celebrates his birthday alone but his privacy soon gets interrupted when a mysterious red balloon invites itself to his apartment. The story brilliantly uses the relationship between the balloon and the man to showcase themes like friendship and acceptance.
