If you haven’t had the chance to experience Universal Studios Singapore™ at night, you’ve been missing out (Halloween Horror Nights is awesome, BTW). New Year’s Eve with the kids at Universal Studios Singapore is a good thing – it’ll definitely be better than being a part of the thronging crowds of Orchard Road or Marina Bay – because it means crowd control. The best part? Selected rides and attractions (like TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, Canopy Flyer and Shrek 4-D Adventure) will be open all night. You’ll get to be a kid, and have fun with your kids!
Stilt walkers, street jugglers, and balloon sculptors that roam the streets of Hollywood and New York all add to the bustling night carnival atmosphere. There’ll be local band performances and face painting (we know how much the munchkins love them) too!
Mums and dads, if you’re a fan of bubblegum popstars like Kylie Minogue or Britney Spears, two of the best international tribute artists will be paying homage by performing their greatest hits. It’s gonna be one helluva par-tay for you and your little dancing queens and kings!
Resident characters like Woody Woodpecker and the Sesame Street gang will be ushering in the New Year with everyone at the park. Watch the annual tradition of the Universal Studios Singapore Globe rise towards the sky at the stroke of midnight, and watch for spectacular fireworks over the lagoon.
Tickets are priced at S$68 – it includes entry into Universal Studios Singapore after 6pm. If you want to make a day of it, get the day pass instead; you’ll get to stay on till the park closes.
