Hoist your lederhosen and dirndls out of storage, the world’s beloved beer festival, Oktoberfest, is back and ready to party. This year there’s even a dedicated festival for full-blown shenanigans – and if beauty is in the eye of the beer holder, well, we predict this town will be pretty damn stunning.

Oktoberfest Asia
If you’ve always wanted to meet legendary German footballer, Dietmar Hamann, here’s your chance. As the official ambassador of Oktoberfest Asia, the football icon is one of the main highlights to the four-day festivities at Keppel Island Plaza (Marina at Keppel Bay).

Otoberfest Asia has a huge undertaking – they’re attempting to be Singapore’s first traditional Oktoberfest. With authentic German foods like goulash and meatloaf served alongside familiar sausages and pork knuckle, authentic Bavarian beer, live performances, games, and competitions, this one has the makings of success.

Oktoberfest Asia, 16-19 October 2013. Tickets from $75-85 and include a welcome beer, a traditional gourmet feast, and your very own Oktoberfest Asia beer glass.

Erdinger Beer
Fans of Erdinger, gather round at the Clarke Quay Central Fountain Square on 11-12 October 2013. You can sing and dance to the tunes of traditional Oom-pah music, play games like Prost Pong and Erdinger Stein Curling, or feast on German staples like pork knuckles, sausages, and of course, authentic German wheat beer.

Brotzeit
Salivating yet? Feast on the Oktoberfest Platter at Brotzeit, which contains all your favourite German delights, like garlic pork sausages, pork ribs, pork chops, and their famous pork knuckle. Wash it all down with the Paulaner Oktoberfestbier while you enjoy the music from AnTon and the Funny Guys.

But hang on, that’s not all. Test your endurance with games and contests that challenge your strength, speed, and balancing skills. The qualifying round will be held on 2 October at the 313@Somerset outlet, while the finals round will be held over 17 October at the Vivo City outlet.

The actual festival will be held over two weekends, 10-13 October, and 17-20 October at the VivoCity outlet.

Brewerkz
Sneak away from work and head on down to Brewerkz at Riverside Point on 3 and 4 October at 6pm to enjoy a beer on the house. If you can’t make it in time, don’t worry because Swiss Butchery will be on hand after to provide you with plates of sausages and sauerkraut to enjoy with your pint.

Paulaner Brauhaus
Enjoy your Bavarian faves at the one and only Paulaner, which has established itself as a go-to hotspot for Oktoberfest-ivities. Not only will you be able to sample the original Oktoberfest bier, there will also be a full German feast and live entertainment flown in specially from Germany. 27 Sep-5 Oct 2013, see here for details.

Tanglin Club
Prepare yourself for a feast at the Tavern at the Tanglin Club from 21 September to 6 October 2013. Sink your teeth into a buffet of delectable ham rolls, sausages, their famous pork knuckles, and more for both lunch ($35/person) and dinner ($45/person).

If you can’t be bothered to head out, order their traditional pork knuckle to go ($30 per piece). With crispy skin and perfectly juicy meat, you can’t go wrong by pairing it with a good German beer.

Singapore Cricket Club
Head on down to the main lounge at the Singapore Cricket Club and celebrate Oktoberfest with the Swiss Apine Lions. Sit back and relax with 1-for-1 beer promos for the whole month of October! If you’re hungry, munch on Oktober sausages ($12.80) or roasted pork knuckle ($18.80).
