Listen up fans of all-things boozy (and that includes parties, of course!): the world-famous German beer festival is back. Making the celebration even more exciting this year is the very first Oktoberfest at Resorts World Sentosa, where you’ll be stuffing yourselves silly with golden suds, juicy bratwursts and a free flow of traditional German food. These are your wunderbar highlights to watch.
1. Gourmet bratwursts by celebrity chef restaurants
For beer lovers and foodies alike, you won’t be able to resist the draw of drool-inducing sausages by four of Resort World Sentosa’s celebrity chef restaurants. Served on a mouthwatering platter, the dish includes the five spice pork sausage from Forest, Byron Bay Berkshire pork garlic sausage by Osia Steak and Seafood Grill (both one Michelin starred establishments), duck and foie gras sausage by Curate and salsiccia Italian sausage by Fratelli.
2. Specialty Erdinger beer
No Oktoberfest is complete without partying with a malty beverage in hand, and Erdinger is the official beer for the festival at Resorts World Sentosa! Thirsty bier heads will have a field day sampling the limited edition Erdinger Oktoberfest seasonal beer — the brew combines the qualities of a full-bodied Oktoberfest-style beer with a drier Weizen, resulting in a crisp and fruity flavour with a strong, malty aftertaste. Other options on tap include the Erdinger Weiss and Erdinger Dunkel, both perfect accompaniments to any festival grub.
3. Hearty, traditional German cuisine
Speaking of food, you can line your stomachs with more than just bratwursts at the festival! Tuck into a sumptuous, all-you-can-eat spread of traditional German fare, including schnitzels, sauerkraut, roast pork knuckles, beer marinated chicken and baked potatoes dosed with herb and mustard cream (phew!).
4. Live party entertainment
Getting the festival on its feet is an on-stage performance by German band, Ois Easy, a group that has performed at various beer events around the world! Groove to crowd-pleasing tunes ranging from rock, pop, disco, and retro, to current chart toppers while you round up your friends for an adrenaline-pumping game of beer pong, priced at $110 per game including one beer tower.
Tickets to Oktoberfest at Resorts World Sentosa are at $78 nett each, while corporate and RWS Invites members get a special rate of $68 nett each, both inclusive of a traditional German buffet, a tasting platter of sausages by celebrity chef restaurants and one glass of Erdinger beer.
For groups of eight, tickets are priced at $750 nett per group ($688 net for RWS Invites members), also comprising a traditional German buffet and a tasting platter of sausages, plus two beer towers and one beer pong game.
