Film screenings in Singapore

Featuring pop yeh yeh performances of twelve groups and four dance groups, A Go Go ’67 was made during the decline of the Shaw Brothers Malay Film productions division. The film is an attempt to revive the dying trade by appealing to the youth culture of the time. 

Glimpse into the the music and lifestyles of Malay youth of the pop yeh yeh era and witness how the local commercial film industry desperately sought after a youth audience.
