Who doesn’t like to get a little bang for their buck? If you’re bored of your living space but aren’t quite ready to invest in a full-fledged makeover for your home, start by making small changes – like re-upholstering your sofa, incorporating wallpapers and adding interesting décor items – to make a big impact.
We know it’s easier said than done – but that’s where the newly opened E&A Interiors comes in. Founded by British designers Chlöe Elkerton and Elizabeth Acland, the design studio offers full interior design services: everything from re-upholstery and soft furnishings to custom furniture and full renovation projects. Plus, the showroom houses a wide range of artisanal fabrics and wallpapers sourced from Europe and America. With over 30 brands available in store, the only question is how to choose.
Even if you’re not one for bold looks, it’s hard to resist their collection of stylish textiles, including those by American designer Peter Dunham (whose prints are a hit with celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow), Raoul Textiles (for their nature-loving designs), and Fermoie (from the same folks behind former print company Farrow & Ball, known for their refined and understated aesthetics).
Modelled after the design studios in New York and London, the showroom has a welcoming boutique feel and a cheery, eclectic vibe, thanks to the happy hues and fun prints peppering the space. Furniture is also laid out to mimic a home, so you can better visualise how a piece will look in your interiors – and great for some refreshing design inspiration.
