As writers, we can pretty much work from anywhere– at home, at our favourite café, or, when it’s completely necessary, the backseat of a taxi. But when the painfully hip furniture and home wares store CB2 offered to spruce up our drab desks after giving our office a fab makeover, we couldn’t say no. How can we possibly resist having a cool and chic workstation done up by one of our favourite lifestyle brands?
The first item to catch our eye while combing through CB2 was the 3-Piece Row House Set ($232.95), a standout décor piece that adds a touch of whimsy to the new office space. To enliven the white-washed interior, we picked the 3-Piece Mango Wood Guardian Set ($139.95) in vibrant chartreuse, cyan, and orange for a dash of happy hues without going over the top.

For the finishing touches, we nabbed the adorable Wooden Sharpener Pencil Cup, the Casa White Tissue House ($10.95) (a must-have for keeping the sniffles at bay), and the Speckle Blue Vase for fresh flowers. With a workspace this rad, our productivity is bound to go through the roof – music to our boss’ ears, we’re sure.
