It’s official – Potato Head is opening in Singapore! PTT Family, the Indonesian hospitality and entertainment group who own famed Potato Head Beach Club (Bali) and Potato Head Garage (Jakarta), have chosen the little red dot for their first international venture – Potato Head Folk. Slated to open its doors on June 4, we’re beyond excited to check out this cool new spot!

Taking over one of the most iconic buildings along thriving Keong Saik Road, Potato Head Folk is set to shake up the local dining scene with a total of four dynamic dining concepts within one building. Designed as PTT family’s ‘home’ in Singapore, Potato Head Folk will emulate the cosiness of a family’s private house.

First Floor – Three Buns Bistro aka ‘The Kitchen’
Hoping to shape into a buzzing neighbourhood burger joint, Three Buns will be dishing out a lip-smacking menu of homemade gourmet burgers, classic sides, Chef Adam Penney’s signature dessert pots, and house-made sodas and cocktails crafted by world-renowned mixologist Dre Masso.

Second Floor – Three Buns Restaurant aka ‘The Living Room’
Head up to the second floor to relish Three Buns Restaurant’s more laid-back and relaxed space, which doubles as a space for art performances.  Australian Artist David Bromley was roped in to give the space a dash of whimsical flair and you’ll definitely admire Bromley’s artistic finesse, from his signature bird and butterfly paintings to the curated Balinese artworks adorning rich turquoise walls.

Third Floor – Studio 1939 aka ‘The Private Studio’
Inspired by Bromley’s art studio in Melbourne, Studio 1939 is Potato Head Folks’s intimate, and incredibly elegant, reservations-only bar. Here is where you can savour a menu of small plates, vintage spirits, and limited collection wines from a secret wine list.

Fourth Floor – Rooftop Bar aka ‘The Rooftop Garden’
Seek respite from the bustling street crowds with a trip up to the rooftop bar. Offering a slice of tropical ambience, the rooftop bar will be serving tiki cocktails created by Dre Masso along with a slew of fresh barbecue dishes. Sit back and relax, amongst the fragrant herbs and exotic flora planted around the rooftop, and take in the view of Singapore’s skyline. Cheers to that!

Potato Head Folk, 36 Keong Saik Road, Singapore 089143, p. 6327 1939. Open Tue-Sun 11am – Midnight.
