Now we love our online shopping, but checking out the goods in person is always reassuring. Especially for furniture.
And now – Singapore’s first online furniture store, Ethnicraft Online Singapore, which specializes in eco-friendly, solid teak wood furniture, has a showroom that is bigger, better, and frankly – impressive.
We snooped around and were excited to not only see a newly decked out showroom, but also new pieces that are now at the top of our wish list!
Our favourite has to be the new Square Root Sofa with its elegant lines and upholstered Belgian linen seat. We tested it and it is as comfy and good-looking!
Make sure to also check out the Teak Slice Extendable Dining Table, the original Ethnicraft dining table now made longer with a hidden extension. It goes from accommodating 6-10 people at its smallest size to 8-12 people when extended. Perfect for small spaces and big parties. We likey!
And finally, if you’re looking for shelving options, take a look at the Teak M Rack. It can be placed both horizontally and vertically and has plenty of storage space.
You might also notice that they now have a darker wood stain available. Turns out – they have introduced a new – and free – walnut stain finish if you prefer your wood darker.
Speaking of complimentary services, Ethnicraft also provides free & immediate delivery everywhere in Singapore; free assembly service (they also provide cushion felts to protect your floors); complimentary maintenance service – just ring them if you have stains or marks; and even a complimentary varnishing service if you want your furniture doubly protected. We know – we love our freebies too.
Getting there can be tricky, so take it from us. Head straight on Eunos Rd 2, past all the low-lying warehouses. Follow the road and loop around to the Handicrafts Building, which lies on a one-way street. The building is red and is taller than the surrounding blocks. Psst – the showroom is on the 5th floor.
