This week’s news in a nutshell:
- Though we were stuck here in Singas last weekend, our spirits were in the Colorado Dessert. Coachella’s first weekend was ah-mazing, or at least that’s what it seemed from Youtube, and if you haven’t seen Leonardo Dicaprio shaking his booty to MGMT or the slew of guest performers that stole the show, you can always get in on the action next weekend by streaming the festival on Coachella’s Youtube page.
- Singtel’s six-year relationship with F1 Singapore GP has come to an end, and Singapore Airlines (SIA) has proudly taken the spot as new title sponsor. We totally get it – it’s a great fit and we can’t wait to see how ‘SQ’ will bring the sponsorship to life and the global spotlight on to the world’s best night race.
hi - The Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa will soon undergo massive refurbishment to be unveiled as Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa in the second half of 2015. It’s about time, we say and we’re looking forward to the fusion of classic french embellishment with the island resort atmos.
hi - Lady Gaga’s leaked pre-Photoshop pictures from her Versace photo shoot cast the spotlight once again on heavy use of Photoshop. Warning: click through if you dare.
hi - Singapore’s Clermont Residence ranks as 8th most lavish apartment in the world according to Billionaire.com. After all, we’re the world’s most expensive city, so what’s US47m for a penthouse?
