This year, the Ramadan bazaar has moved from Geylang Serai to an online platform. While it won’t be the same as navigating through the bustling aisles, we can look forward to a comfortable shopping experience behind the screen. From food to home decor to home essentials, the virtual fair houses more than 110 merchants. There are also weekly live performances and charity drives where you can give back to those in need.

6. Shop: So Chic French Market Festival
All weekend

Expect a smorgasbord of French fashion brands, including By-Bea, AsFall and Sceona. Then fuel up on amazing French fare by Luxe Catering, Maison Kayser and more. 7. Exhibition: The Migrant
All weekend
Dutch photographer Anaïs López uses the ubiquitous Java mynah as her muse in this thought-provoking exhibition. Featuring mixed-media works like photographs, videos and texts, the display follows the story of the mynah. What was introduced as a pet from Bali in the early 1900s is now considered nothing more than a pesky pest. The bird is a mere metaphor for important themes like migration, rapid urbanisation and the relationship between animals and humans.
The Migrant, Objectifs – Centre for Photography & Film, 155 Middle Road, Singapore 188977
8. Exhibition: Rewritten: The World Ahead of Us
All weekend

Now here’s something we don’t see often. This outdoor art exhibition takes place across the 36km-long coast-to-coast trail. As you trek your way from Jurong to Punggol, you’ll come across 14 art installations that give you a glimpse into the post-pandemic future. These text-based works offer optimism and hope by breathing new life to poetry by well-known Singaporean poets. And if you’re wondering, it’ll probably take a day and a half to check out all the exhibits by foot.

Enjoy a confetti cake along with a limited edition birthday cocktail called “Three Cheers to All” with sprinkles and gold dust.
