Here’s a blast from the past! Auction house Hotlotz is hosting a trunk show featuring designer items from the 80s and 90s. Your wardrobe will love pieces like the Dolce & Gabbana black velvet jacket, Yves Saint Laurent river gauche skirt and the limited edition Chanel trunk bag. There are 233 lots within the auction as of writing, so start bidding!

2. Exhibition: The Migrant

Dutch photographer Anaïs López uses the ubiquitous Java mynah as her muse in this thought-provoking exhibition. Featuring mixed-media works like photographs, videos and texts, the display follows the story of the mynah. What was introduced as a pet from Bali in the early 1900s is now considered nothing more than a pesky pest. The bird is a mere metaphor for important themes like migration, rapid urbanisation and the relationship between animals and humans.

3. Exhibition: Rewritten: The World Ahead of Us

Now here’s something we don’t see often. This outdoor art exhibition takes place across the 36km-long coast-to-coast trail. As you trek your way from Jurong to Punggol, you’ll come across 14 art installations that give you a glimpse into the post-pandemic future. These text-based works offer optimism and hope by breathing new life to poetry by well-known Singaporean poets. And if you’re wondering, it’ll probably take a day and a half to check out all the exhibits by foot.

4. Festival: Songkran at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore

Get a taste of the Thai water festival at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore! And you don’t actually have to get wet here. Soak in the festivities through F&B promos, activities and workshops during your stay. Tuck into spicy curry pork noodles at Greenhouse restaurant or pork and jackfruit curry at Tee Deck Bar and Grill. Once you’re full, take part in a Thai flower garland or Thai snacks workshop for a dose of culture.

5. Eat: Le Bon Funk’s third-anniversary celebrations

7. Theatre: No Regrets, a Tribute to Edith Piaf

Sing’theatre celebrates its 15th anniversary with No Regrets, A Tribute to Edith Piaf (one of the most celebrated French musicians of all time). Transport to Paris with a repertoire of 20 classic French and English songs including La Vie En Rose, No Regrets and The Three Bells. Hosted and narrated by Hossan Leong, the revue also explores Piaf’s life. “Edith Piaf is proof that anything is possible in life as long as you fight for it! Proof that you can make your dream come true,” says Nathalie Ribette, founder of Sing’theatre and director and producer of the show. The production stars Hossan Leong, Mina Ellen Kaye, Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai, and 18-year-old Maya Raisha in her theatre debut.

8. Exhibition: The Office, Disrupted

Wanna explore the future of work? This data-led exhibition examines the hybrid work model, how workspace designs might change and what the ideal work-life balance is. Also look forward to panel sessions on topics like redesigning business during change, work culture and mobility. This couldn’t have come at a better time, especially since we’ve just marked the one-year anniversary of 2020’s unforgettable circuit breaker.

The gallery is showcasing the French way of setting a table with three dining tables replete with fixtures from French labels and historical menus from state dinners. Learn about marine-related professionals, the wonders of the sea and marine conservation. Plus, for the perfect IG op, there’s the Shark Cafe installation. It’s a playful reimagination of a migration area in the Pacific Ocean for the great white sharks.
