For chef Damian D’Silva, Easter brings back childhood memories of his family’s once-a-year treat. Simple but elegant, the ‘beef murtabak’ ($22) is a lovely dish with a meaningful backstory. The crepe is made with egg and salt, and delicately wrapped around ground beef cooked in star anise, cinnamon and nutmeg with curry powder. To enhance the flavour, dip it in house-made chilli and a raita made of yogurt, lime juice, tomatoes, onions and green chilli.
