The holidays are here and it’s time to gather your loved ones for a lavish festive buffet to celebrate. At the top of our list? The a la carte buffet experience at Edge. Look forward to classic crowd pleasers like the roasted turkey breast with caramelised apples and crusted almond, glazed gammon ham with pineapple chutney and slow-cooked spiced beef brisket. Save some room for dessert because you’ll be seeing a sweet, sweet lineup with the likes of chocolate yule log, English fruit cake and Christmas pudding with brandy sauce taking the table. Indulge in a merry meal this holiday season! On Christmas Eve, tuck into a six-course feast replete with festive faves. Work up an appetite with starters like lobster bisque, pan-seared foie gras, Chilean scallops and gyoza. Then, take your pick from three main course selections, including the signature roasted prime rib of beef with turkey and Atlantic lobster tail with grilled ora king salmon. For desserts, choose between berry opera cake or chocolate pistachio cake. Come Christmas Day, dishes like BBQ bacon-wrapped chicken and the famous spinning bowl salad feature on the festive menu.

That’s not all! Lawry’s is giving diners a special Maker’s Mark Whisky treat (375ml) on Christmas Eve and Day, as well as New Year’s Eve and Day. Aged in American white oak barrels and made with red winter wheat for a hint of sweetness, there are only 20 bottles up for grabs daily. For the icing on the cake, Citi cardmembers enjoy 10% off the Christmas Day Set menu with a deposit placed before 18 December. Plus, those who can’t make it on Christmas can get up to 40% off items from the a la carte menu.

4. Fat Prince

Forget about your annual Christmas dining tradition and take the Middle Eastern route with Fat Prince’s festive menu. With flame-grilled Argentinian red prawns with green gazpacho, spiced roasted duck breast with caramelised endive and pumpkin puree, and fennel and potato salad, you won’t even miss roast turkey and all its trimmings. For dessert, there’s Turkish lemon tart and milk crisps made with Middle Eastern spice blend za’atar. Wash it all down with festive cocktail Hold The Pudding, which features rum-infused pudding.

5. Salted & Hung

For the whole of December, Salted & Hung will be doling out a festive ‘Feed Me’ tasting menu. It’s embellished with an unconventional selection of scallop with caviar, Jerusalem artichoke with confit egg and mushroom dashi, Miyazaki grape-fed pork loin with turnip and apple butter, and house-made charcuterie. On Christmas Eve and Day, you’ll see food items like king crab, honey-glazed ham and Kagoshima beef making an appearance.

6. The English House, by Marco Pierre White

Dreaming of traditional English Christmas foods? Marco Pierre White has curated a three-course meal that will whisk you away to the lush countryside of England. Whet your appetite with a choice of starters, including cod fish fingers, beef carpaccio, fresh crab cocktail and foie gras terrine. For mains, you’ve got choices like roast turkey, lamb fillet, pan-seared salmon and veal chop. They’re all accompanied by roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, sauteed veggies, pigs in a blanket and gravy. End the Christmas dining feast on a sweet note with options like Christmas pudding and apple and orange tart.

7. Summerlong

Riverside resto Summerlong has crafted a Christmas menu with hints of Mediterranean flair. Say yes to plates like oysters with Italian prosecco foam, artichoke dip with flatbread, Alaskan king crab tartare and Greek yoghurt cheesecake. Plus, a choice between grass-fed Australian angus beef with grilled asparagus and Jerusalem artichoke puree, or Mediterranean scampi with Greek orzo pasta. On Christmas day, you’ll be treated to a special brunch that spotlights a 42-hour slow-roasted orange juice and herb-marinated turkey with minced chicken and chestnut stuffing, served with a side of roasted potatoes and bell peppers.

Don’t take the word ‘feast’ lightly, as you’ll be spoilt with a bountiful spread. Enjoy festive roasts like turkey and honey glazed ham, a fresh seafood platter of Alaskan king crab and poached Boston lobster, and then some. Drop by on Christmas Eve or Day for dishes like tuna tartare, caviar with blini, pan-seared foie gras, and delightful dulcet yuzu log cake or ginger apple pie for dessert. 10. The Connoisseur Concerto

Christmas cheer comes in the form of decadent desserts and non-traditional turkeys at The Connoisseur Concerto. Highlights on the Christmas wonderland menu include Swiss-inspired turkey cordon bleu, with a panko-crusted turkey breast and a cheesy centre, and angel hair pasta with prawn and turkey paupiettes. Looking for log cakes? There’s the milk chocolate-based Nutty Choco Fantasy, the earl grey-infused Snowy Wonderland and the Santa-themed Choco Coffee Surprise. 11. Oxwell & Clan

Raise your hand if you were devastated about Oxwell & Co’s closure. Fret not, as the restaurant is back with Oxwell & Clan, a joint venture with Straits Clan’s Clan Cafe. The six-week pop-up carries a festive Roast & Toast set menu featuring a festive tipple, sharing plates like salt and pepper shrimp and scotch egg, dishes like roast chicken, beef sirloin, roasted cauliflower and barramundi, and dessert. Great for groups of five!

Or you can go the a la carte route with Oxwell & Co’s signature roast dishes, stellar sides and the like. There’s crackled roast pork belly and grilled lamb chop along with plates of roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, charred Brussels sprouts and a marvellous spread of sauces. Don’t leave without trying the sticky date pudding, served with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Brasserie Les Saveurs is sticking to its roots by putting a French spin on its Christmas dining menu. Come Christmas Eve and Day, wolf down a celebratory spread of roast turkey with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, honey-glazed gammon ham, pan-seared foie gras with pumpkin compote and gingerbread coulis, beef wellington and more. The French flair truly shines through with desserts like pistachio and raspberry roll gâteaux, pear caramel choux puff and panettone with mascarpone cream and glühwein nitrogen ice cream. If brunch is more your style, this Mega Safe Christmas Brunch beckons. Make space for a line-up of pan-seared barramundi with champagne sauce, foie gras terrine, sage butter roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, beef wellington and beyond. And what’s a Christmas brunch without free-flow bubbly? Choose between Rose or Brut Champagne and drink to your heart’s content. It’s the holiday season after all!

Head chef of Zafferano, Andrea De Paola, has whipped up a Christmas dining menu Italian-style. So expect lots of seafood plates on the three- and five-course menus. Highlights include the luxurious Hokkaido scallop crowned with oscietra caviar, charcoal baked black cod, and tagliolini pasta with confit langoustine. For meat lovers, the wagyu beef tenderloin will satisfy. Psst: Go for the five-course menu and you will be served an exquisite Japanese A5 Miyazaki Wagyu. Dessert comes in the form of a nougat snowball with cardamom and gingerbread.

This year, there are wow-worthy mains on the table, from classic festive mainstays like BBQ beef rib to new entrants like orange marmalade-glazed bone-in ham and herb-roasted turkey. Do take note that you have to put in your order three days in advance for all the meat dishes. Also, don’t miss out on Morgan’s Christmas Feast, which spotlights ribs in flavours of cranberry and hazelnut. Yum!
