Tis the season to be… feasting! Among the year’s most auspicious dining occasions, Christmas dinner is a feast worth some engineering. Let us help you out with our picks for the perfect Christmas day dining that will have you breaking bread with loved ones sans preparation and washing dishes. All you need to do is make your reservations, sit back, relax and bouffe!

Buffets

Ellenborough Market Café invites you to a gastronomic celebration of local, peranakan and international cuisine. Available for lunch ($60++ for adults, $30++ for kids) and dinner ($70++ for adults, $35++ for kids), the buffet will showcase dishes like stuffed roast turkey, roast beef with thyme jus, and red wine lamb stew. Leave space for traditional treats like log cake, mince pie and, local favourite, deep fried durian ice cream.

Relish your Christmas night at Blue Potato, which offers a sumptuous buffet ($98++ for adults, $49++ for kids) along with a gorgeous view of Clarke Quay and the Singapore River. Tuck into delicacies like lobster with caramelised pumpkin, pineapple glazed gammon ham, and cranberry bread paired with butter pudding. Best part? Free flow beer- hell yeah!

Fancy a fun-filled Christmas meal that has your festive entertainment covered? Edge’s Christmas lunch ($158 for adults, $49 for kids) and dinner  ($148 for adults, $49 for kids) buffets promise not just a gourmet spread but also a theatrical dining experience with Christmas carollers, a festive photo booth and special children’s corner in the afternoon.

A guest balloon sculptor and full line-up of festive games are in store at Spices Café’s Christmas lunch ($50++ for adults, $25++ for kids) and dinner ($62++ for adults, $30++ for kids) buffets. Food-wise, expect a mouth-watering spread of Asian and Western specialties including quality sashimi, fresh seafood, roast turkey with chestnut stuffing, as well as roasted striploin.

RISE is offering a scrumptious spread of international delicacies, available for both lunch and dinner (from $68++ per pax). Tuck into freshly prepared sushi, your favourite cheeses, traditional Chinese roasts, and Indian specialities. We’ll be hovering around the special Christmas carving station, which will serve up classic turkey and honey glazed ham.

Keep the littlies entertained with balloon sculptors and a mouth-watering spread at Carousel. Their Christmas day lunch ($50 for adults, $32 for kids), high tea ($43 for adults, $28 for kids) and dinners ($75 for adults, $42 for kids) is certified halal and offers delicacies from Mediterranean, Asian, Japanese, and French cuisines. Best part? There’s not one, not two, but three dessert stations!

Carnivores, listen up! Sink your teeth into a wide selection of Christmas meats (prepared on the spot), like roasted pork knuckle, stuffed chicken, traditional turkey and Norwegian salmon roulade,  at Melt the World Café’s Christmas buffets. Inclusive of free flow alcohol, lunch is priced at $228 while dinner is $178 per pax.

Festive Menus

Go oriental this Christmas at Keyaki, and tuck into exquisite dishes like grilled eggplant wth foie gras, premium sashimi platter, grilled lobster and the highly-prized wagyu beef.  Christmas set dinner starts from $170 per pax.

Dine on classic French festive fare this Christmas at Balzac Brasserie. Inspired by his childhood favourites from the Loire Valley, Executive Chef Jean-Charles Dubois has prepared a celebratory menu featuring popular French starter foie gras terrine, the restaurant’s signature lobster bisque, hearty main courses like pan-seared angus beef tenderloin and classic pastry dessert apple mille feuille with vanilla cream. Available for both lunch and dinner, the set menu is priced at $98++ per pax.

Located on the 43rd floor of Ocean Financial Centre, be treated to one of the best views of Marina Bay at Zafferano.  Their four-course Christmas menu ($98) features Italian favourites like foie gras terrine, classic meat tortellni, lasagnetta lobster, and carefully prepared poultries like veal and sea bass.

Always heading to Lawry’s for your steak fix? You’ll be thrilled to know that they are serving up a festive feast ($79) with traditional Christmas roasts like black truffle turkey and you know you can’t go wrong with good ol’ desserts like mille crepe and bread pudding.

Notably popular for its monstrous six-layer moist chocolate tower cake, Au Chocolat invites you to a fairy-tale themed Christmas lunch or dinner with a mouth-watering menu inspired by renowned fairy tales. Choose from a two ($28), three ($58) or four ($68) course meal where you can relish a platter of mocha pork ribs, roasted pork belly, and stew of green pea puree and scallops. Don’t hesitate to get the tower cake for desserts!

Celebrate Christmas the Jamie’s Italian way! For $69.50, savour a three course meal featuring their famous antipasti planks (cured meats, Italian cheeses and assorted grilled vegetables), choice of main served with polenta chips and seasonal vegetables, and cap it off with Christmas-themed dessert and festive dried fruit pies.

Indulge in the finest flavours of Japan as Mikuni presents an exclusive festive menu (from $250++), exquisitely crafted by Executive Chef Moon Kyung Soo. Savour quality seasonal Japanese produce like Ise Lobster, Kyushu Abalone, Hokkaido Sea Urchin, Kagoshima Wagyu, and Kurobuta Pork.
