Can you believe it’s already April? While entertainment venues are still closed in light of the Covid-19 situation and people are encouraged to stay indoors and practise social distancing, it has pushed us to find creative ways to spend the weekend without leaving our homes. This time, we’ve got masterclasses, live music performances and virtual shopping events. We’ve even thrown in offline events as well, for those itching to get out! Behold, all the great things to do this weekend in Singapore.

Learn the art of insta poetry

Canadian poet Rupi Kaur needs no introduction, with her bite-sized poetry that’s been making waves on social media. Now, you can learn a thing or two about mastering this written craft as she holds live writing workshops on her Instagram page. Don’t worry if you’ve missed the livestream, as she will add them to her IGTV subsequently. FYI: The first episode is already out!

Please don’t stop the music

With the closing of clubs and postponing of concerts, we’re in dire need of live music entertainment. Lucky for us, the pop stars of today are serving up top-notch performances from the comfort of their homes or home studios (we’re looking at you, Mariah Carey). From Dua Lipa’s husky vocals to Chris Martin’s croons and the sexy duet by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, we’re so here for it.
