We’re all for keeping fit but some gym memberships can put a damper on our pockets. On the bright side, with basic gym equipment and value-for-money class packages, you’ll be able to sweat it out without worrying about a thing. Yes, there are beautiful parks to sweat out those calories, but the next time you want a change of scene (or if the rain dampens your plans), look to these studios instead.
Boom
Boom is changing the idea of boxing by incorporating functional training elements into the workout. Throw some punches a la Muhammad Ali with a personal boxing bag and weight station. Want to take it further? There are other options like the BoomCircuit and BoomCamp (HIIT and circuit workouts). A single class is $35 but take the 30 class pack (valid for eight months) and you save about $3 per class. Early risers can opt for the daybreak class before 11am at $25 per session.
