Tony Award winner and OG Disney queen Lea Salonga transforms into Mrs Lovett in the award-winning musical thriller Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. We’re all familiar with Helena Bonham Carter’s portrayal in Tim Burton’s movie version, but with her serious acting chops and pipes, we’re confident that Salonga’s going to crush it.

You’ve probably spammed your phone over the years with countless pictures of the iconic luminarie light sculptures. Clear up that memory space as Christmas Wonderland is back with more mind-blowing sights and activities for the whole fambam (we hear there’s going to be a 21-metre tall Spalliera). But if you really want to get in the festive mood, don’t leave without taking a stroll ‘round the Festive Market or enjoying the snowfall during Blizzard Time and ice skating under the stars. Carnival games and kid-friendly rides will also be making a comeback.

Fashion: Fashion Artisan Week

Francophiles, Alliance Francaise de Singapour will be hosting a slew of events as part of Fashion Artisan Week. Starting off the festivities, there will be a documentary screening about French designer Yves Saint Laurent. Also, look forward to a slew of exciting sartorial workshops this weekend!

Comic fans, be prepared to go all out at SGCC 2019. You’ll get to meet illustrator Mark Simpson, who has worked on graphic novels like Wolverine and The Losers, comic book artist Greg Capullo of DC Comics’ Batman series and cartoonist Sarah Andersen who created Sarah’s Scribbles. On top of that, there will also be a cosplay competition to boot!
