ACT 3 Drama Academy needs no introduction – they’re the experts we turn to when it comes to grooming our little ones to glow on stage! Using the concept of play (which is exactly what kids do best), they learn to articulate themselves through storytelling, improvisation, and creative movement.
In the last term of the year, the folks at the ACT 3 Drama Academy have put the focus on our younger dramatists. For the 18-36 months old, the 10 weekly sessions this term will deal with the everyday life. You’ll see your little tyke (kids under the age of 3 need to have a parent in the class with them!) exploring the topics of family, home, neighbourhood, and other activities that take place in the core of their world. Songs, storytelling, and simple role-play are some of the methods used in learning – not only does this encourage imagination, their vocabulary bank will grow along the way too.
Children aged 4-5 will take learning one step further. Besides using language in imaginative play, they will learn team-building and valuable communication skills while sharing ideas with their little counterparts. Class participation will boost self-confidence as well!
For our kids at 6-7 years of age, the weekly workshops become a tad more complex. The kids explore feelings, with a particular emphasis on empathy. Role-playing characters from diverse time periods, cultures, and predicaments will encourage compassion, and tolerance for the feelings and opinions of others. Apart from the invaluable character building, the sessions also build vocabulary (with poems and discussions!), and teamwork.
The next term begins from 14 September 2013, so register your child with ACT 3 Drama Academy today!
