Well, turns out, it’s all three rolled into one. We popped by the launch event of this new integrated eye health and beauty hub in Somerset for a look-see. Here’s why the unique concept store created in partnership with Define by ACUVUE caught our eye.

We can safely say that Videre is setting a trend with its first integrated hub that oh-so-seamlessly combines eye health, beauty and cosmetic retail. At the store, you can’t miss the brightly lit Define Salon that features a beauty bar, a wide range of 1-day Define by ACUVUE beauty lenses, a pink shimmery wall with a neon sign and a cool virtual mirror.
Sure you can try on the Define by ACUVUE beauty lenses – even if it’s your first time, the good folks at Videre will walk you through the process, help you choose the right lenses and teach you the dos and don’ts. Next, head over to the Define Salon, where a popular K-beauty brand will help create your signature looks, while an in-house beauty advisor offers the latest makeup tips and tricks. Oh, and every four months, you’ll find a new K-beauty brand helming this space, thanks to a collaboration with Amorepacific.
Or you could park yourself at the Define Virtual Mirror – an in-store app feature that lets you virtually test out all the Define by ACUVUE lenses, as well as a whole range of makeup filters. Great inspo for a new look!

Videre has gone the extra mile to fit their new store with state-of-the-art eye health facilities and personalised services. Checkups are faster, more accurate and certainly more interesting. It’s also one of the first stores that will check your eyes using the Wave Analyzer Medica 700+, a mighty powerful machine that can spot symptoms of cataracts and glaucoma in just 90 seconds! There’s also the Vision-R 800 phoropter that has a unique ‘Smart Test’ function for quicker results (and lesser chair time) and offers an accuracy of up to 0.01D.
