Music jamming studios in Singapore: Where to jam and book rehearsal rooms for bands in the city

Be honest with yourself: unless you’re a Mozart-level natural, you can’t be a rockstar without practice. For any musician, old or new, the jamming studio is perhaps the most important area in a musician’s line of work. Not only do these well-maintained studios provide instruments and equipment, they’re also affordable too, presuming you’re splitting with your bandmates. So don’t disturb the neighbours; here are 12 hand-picked jamming studios in Singapore for your inner Janis Joplin to shine.

The Music Parlour

If famous names in the music scene like Charlie Lim and Dru Chen have chosen this studio to host their performances, you know you can’t doubt the street cred of this place! The Music Parlour (pictured above) is sneakily hidden behind bookcases, which slide away to reveal an industrial interior and quality selection of guitars, drums, and amps. The four rooms here range from Small to X-Large.
The Music Parlour, 3 Coleman Street, #04-20 Peninsula Shopping Centre, Singapore 179804, p. 8511 6989. Studio rates: $15/hr, $25/hr, $30/hr, $40/hr. Additional charge of $5 after 10pm.

When your band members are strewn all over Singapore, the central area is always the ideal place to meet.
