Yacht rental in Singapore: Sail to St John’s, Lazarus, or Kusu island, with YMPL

We love a team bonding sesh here at Honeycombers HQ, and for our latest outing, we wanted to make the most of Singapore’s sunny weather and proximity to plenty of pretty islands. So when the opportunity to swan around a spiffy yacht sipping Champagne crossed our path, we thought it would be rude not to dig out our glammest swimsuits and hop on board for an extravagant afternoon of frolicking on the high seas – that’s how we roll. If you’re stuck for ideas on how to celebrate that next big birthday or long weekend, then bobbing around Singapore’s shore is one helluva fun afternoon, as we were about to find out for ourselves.

We hooked up with Yacht Management Pte Ltd for our pimped Wednesday afternoon. With a whole fleet of affordable yachts to choose from – and 25 Honeycombers to accommodate – the beautiful Charter Me (a 48’ power catamaran) was our vessel of choice. This bad boy houses two double bedrooms, plenty of outdoor seating with a huge table on the top deck, a spacious sun tanning mattress, and (the piece de resistance) a karaoke sound system. Boom! As we hopped aboard, we were greeted by the friendly crew and swiftly set sail for Lazarus Island.

Bubbles and delish bites were supplied by our good pals at The Providore, and with catering taken care of, all we had to worry about was having an awesome time. Thankfully the weather was on our side, and we made the most of it upon docking at Lazarus. Out came the inflatables and kayaks and our afternoon passed in a blur of jumping into the sea, floating in the ocean (prosecco in hand, naturally), sunbathing, and stuffing our faces with canapes and cheese platters. Perfect afternoon? You bet’cha.
