Brunch on a budget is great for an everyday affair, but special occasions warrant only the best. For an ultra decadent gastronomic affair, we went out on a (luxe) limb to round up the top 10 best hotel brunches in Singapore.

Brasserie Les Saveurs
This little French heaven strikes a balance between food foraging and lazing on a, well, lazy Sunday morning. Servers not only deliver eggs any style and a main course of your choice straight to your table, they drift by ever so often with 8 different well-plated appetizers. However, it won’t be long before the foie gras cooking station, seafood, and dessert tables beckon to fill the gaps of your brunch.

Brasserie Les Saveurs, the St. Regis Singapore, 29 Tanglin Road, Singapore 247911, p. 6506 6860. Brunch available every Sun, 11am-4pm.
Free flow Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé: $228++
Free flow Billecart-Salmon Brut Réserve: $180++
Non-alcoholic Brunch: $148++
Children aged 4 to 12: $75++

Greenhouse
The opulence that is the Ritz-Carlton is underscored by Greenhouse’s Vintage Champagne Brunch, which probably has the most lavish spread, and almost certainly the best champagne. Other than the usual decadence of foie gras, lobster tails, and oysters, a highlight (especially for cheese lovers) is the extensive range of French farmhouse cheeses.

Greenhouse, the Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore, 7 Raffles Avenue, Singapore 039799, p. 6434 5288. Brunch available every Sun, 12-330pm.
Free flow 2002 Vintage Moët & Chandon, wines and selected cocktails: $168++
Children aged 6 to 12: $84++
Children aged 3 to 5: $42++

equinoxEquinox

Equinox
With floor-to-ceiling windows, this is the brunch with the best view. The Equinox goes pink every last Sunday of the month – pink balloons, pink chocolate fountain, pink-attired staff and of course, free flow Moët & Chandon Brut Rosé Impérial. Non-pink fans can come back on other Sundays, because the food will be just as good.

Equinox, Swissotel the Stamford, 2 Stamford Road, Singapore 178882, p. 6837 3322. Brunch available every Sun, 11am-230pm.
Pink Champagne brunch: $148++
Champagne brunch: $128++
Children aged 6 to 12: $64++

Barnacles
The bubbly isn’t as free flowing as other hotel brunch venues, but freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters and Alaskan king crab legs with a backdrop of the South China Sea can’t be experienced anywhere else. Barnacles is also great for families with young children (they get their own buffet with an ice-cream sundae bar!) since parents get to enjoy couple time while the young ‘uns are enthralled by the magic and balloon sculptures of Captain Dazzle.

Barnacles, Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort, 101 Siloso Road, Sentosa, Singapore 098970, p. 6371 1966. Brunch available every Sunday, 12-3pm.
Adult brunch: $98++
Children aged 12 years and below: Dine free with every paying adult. $38++ for each additional child.

Ku Dé Ta
We stifle the urge to grin when we realize that brunching at Ku Dé Ta gets us the spectacular view that tourists, domestic or otherwise, pay $20 for. We also get as close to the infinity pool deck as possible without being hotel guests. Mains and hot foods (eggs, pizzas) are prepared and served while salads, cheeses, breads, and desserts are offered buffet-style.

Ku Dé Ta, SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands, North Tower, 1 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018971, p. 6688 7688. Brunch available every Sat and Sun, 11am-330pm.
Free flow Louis Roederer Brut Premier champagne, wine, cocktails, sangria and draft beer: $198++
Free flow cocktails, sangria and draft beer: $148++

Bar and Billiard Room
Carnivores continue to follow the lead of the Bengal Tiger that supposedly strolled into the Bar and Billiard Room more than a century ago in 1902 to look for food. Today, the carnivorous flock is lured in on weekends by quality cold cuts from Italy and Spain, and the meats (Welsh leg of lamb, Iberico pork ribs, beef tenderloin) that sit on the carving stations.

Bar and Billiard Room, Raffles Hotel, 1 Beach Road, Singapore 189673, p. 6412 1816. Brunch available every Sat and Sun 12-3pm.
Free flow of Champagne Billecart-Salmon Rose: $198 ++
Free flow of Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve: $178 ++
Non-alcoholic Brunch: $158 ++
Children aged 6 to 12: $84 ++

Clifford
Clifford is one of the few brunch places to offer brunch on both days of the weekend. The difference: the bubbly is replaced by Bloody Mary on the Saturday Hangover brunch (specially tailored for you Friday late night party-goers). A semi-buffet with a good quality spread, and a less hefty price tag on average, the Clifford Sunday brunch is the best value hotel champagne brunch around.

Clifford, Fullerton Bay Hotel, 80 Collyer Quay, Singapore 049326, p. 6597 5288. Brunch available every Sat and Sun, 12-3pm.
Saturday Hangover Brunch: $88++
Free flow Perrier Jouet champagne: $128++

Jade
This gem has one of the most reasonably priced dim sum buffets in Singapore. Besides dim sum favourites like har gao and siew mai, Jade dishes up items like cheese dumplings, bird’s nest broth, and lobster congee.  However, with only 1 hour and 45 minutes for seating time, it pays to be punctual for this weekend brunch.

Jade, Fullerton Hotel, 1 Fullerton Square, Singapore 049178, p. 6877 8188. Brunch available every Sat and Sun, first seating 11am-1245pm and second seating 115-3pm.
Dim Sum a la carte buffet brunch: $38++
Children aged 6 to 11: $19++

The Knolls
