Synopsis: In the Bélier family, everybody is deaf, except 16 year-old Paula. She is the essential interpreter for the running of the farming family business. One day, she discovers that she has a gifted voice, and engages in the preparation of a national singing contest, encouraged by her music teacher. A lifestyle that would imply for Paula to leave her family, to abandon the farm, and to transit to adulthood.
