Star Wars exhibition kicks off at Changi Airport with launch parade for fans
From 12 Nov to 5 Jan, Changi Airport will be taking visitors on an intergalactic adventure with a Star Wars exhibition where two of the film series’ iconic starfighters will be landing in Singapore for the very first time – the X-wing and the TIE fighter. Come and join us to witness the Imperial Stormtroopers and the starfighter X-wing pilots in an action-packed one-time-only launch parade that will take visitors from Terminal 3, where a life-sized X-wing takes centre stage, to the TIE fighter that stands tall at Terminal 2.
Thereafter, weekly shows starring the starfighter pilots and the Imperial Stormtroopers will take place every Saturday at 4.00pm from 14 November 2015 to 2 January 2016. There will also be a bouncy castle playground, located at T3’s Departure Hall (Check-in Row 11) for the little ones. The Norway-themed playhouse inspired by Hardangerjøkulen Glacier, one of the filming locations of Star Wars, has a four-metre high slide, an illuminating ball pit, a ski slope and even a rock climbing lighthouse station, perfect for even the youngest of visitors.
