Free cooking demos hosted by Chef Eric Low
As part of the #happyplatesg campaign to minimise food waste at home, Chef Eric Low will be hosting free cooking demonstrations throughout the day every Sunday at Tangs Orchard. He will teach practical tips and ideas to help reduce food waste in the kitchen, plus share recipes he has developed to help use up leftovers.
Plus, dine in at The Providore at Tangs and take a picture of your empty, finished plate until 22nd November to be in with a chance to win a cooking class at The Providore Cafe & Cooking Studio worth $120. Hashtag #happyplatesg and #theprovidore to be eligible. Competition ends 22nd November 2015.
The cooking events and competitions are being hosted as part of Electrolux’s campaign to raise awareness of food waste. Until 22nd November, post a picture of your empty (finished) plate online and hashtag #happyplatesg. For every three hashtags Electrolux will donate a food bundle through The Food Bank Singapore to help a family in need.
