Situated in a beautifully conserved shophouse in Joo Chiat, The Cheese Shop is a speciality store that offers an award-winning selection of artisanal cheese from the UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Holland. Dying to impress guests at your next dinner party with a stellar cheese plate? Try the best-selling 24-month aged Gouda or the Harbourne Blue that’s not available anywhere else in Singapore. La Fromagerie
The brainchild of chef Julien Bompard from Le Saint Julien restaurant, La Fromagerie touts itself as Singapore’s first online artisan cheese shop. Choose from the finest French and European cheeses (air-flown overnight, no less) like the Roquefort Vieux Berger, Camembert, and (our personal favourite) La Fromagerie’s signature homemade Truffle Brie. Or if you’d rather leave it to the experts, La Formagerie also offers ready-made cheese platters – perfect for parties and get-togethers.

Either way, The Cheese Ark will sure to satisfy aficionados and neophytes alike with its mind-boggling range of cheeses sourced from Italy, Switzerland, France, and The Netherlands. With over 50 types to choose from (Gorgonzola! Raclette! Reblochon!), shopping at The Cheese Ark can get confusing very quickly.
