Now on: Craft + Design Fest at Paragon
Already made plans for 15 and 16 August? Change them! Your weekend is about to get a lot more interesting with Paragon’s first ever furniture and lifestyle fair, Craft + Design Fest.
The inaugural event will showcase the best in furniture, home accessories, and art from Paragon’s top home and lifestyle brands such as Baker Furniture, BoConcept, Commune by Abitex, Heng Artland, Images of China, Liuligongfang, and Lladro.
It gets better: for two days only, you’ll be spoilt with amazing shopping deals as well as an array of interactive workshops conducted by the participating stores. Think sake tasting, flower arranging and tea blending sessions. And did we mention that all these workshops are free? Score!
If you have a soft spot for florals, don’t miss the Decorating With Flowers workshop by renowned Danish furniture company, BoConcept. Held in collaboration with local florist Triceratops, the workshop will entail a live floral arrangement demonstration, followed by a practical session for participants to try their hand at the craft.
How To Throw A Party In Style workshop, organised by Baker Furniture
Want to know the secret to throwing a kickass party? Then sign up for the How To Host A Party In Style workshop hosted by Baker Furniture. Jeremy Nguee, chef-owner of award-winning gourmet caterer Preparazzi will share his tips and tricks on creating picture-perfect dishes. Fancy sipping a cup of your very own bespoke tea? Learn the trade secrets on how to be a master blender at Baker Furniture’s Monogram Tea Design workshop, held in collaboration with the Gryphon Tea Company.
Other events we’re clearing our schedules for on 15 and 16 August: the sake tasting session and Liuli (Chinese crystal glass) making workshop by Liuligongfang, Senses:Raison contemporary art exhibition held by Heng Artland, and the live watercolours demonstration by aspiring artist Aaron Gan at Images of China.
