There was a time when we prayed to the food gods for sinful, guilt-free foods. That’s right – fried chicken, desserts, burgers, sans the calories. Ridiculous as it sounds, we once hoped to have our cake and eat it too. Well, turns out that the idea isn’t that absurd, thanks to Skinny Pizza and their low-carb, oh-so-light creations. Obviously, we were sold.
The great thing about Skinny Pizzas’ Italian pies is that they boast a really thin, light and crispy base. Each time you bite into a slice, you’ll hear that lovely ‘crackling’ noise you get when munching on potato chips. Good riddance to that awful bloat-y feeling that comes with feasting on a traditional pizza and its thick, bready crust!
Aside from the irresistible pizza base, we can’t get enough of the awesome toppings available. Skinny Pizza’s 13 (and counting) offerings include options such as the wild truffled mushroom (our personal favourite), squid ink seafood, and even ones inspired by local flavours, like the chicken satay. Their flat creations are all laden with greens and plenty of fresh produce so that’s another plus.

More often than not, we’d add on to our order of pizzas with other items like the fiery black pepper prawn linguine, truffle fries (a mandatory order), and of course, desserts like the decadent Guanaja chocolate tart. Follow suit and you’ll be in food heaven in no time!
