Nostalgia for the old days is a very Singaporean thing – we reminisce the good ol’ days of being pals with our neighbours and reveling in that much-missed kampung spirit.
Avant Theatre will take you back to the age of communal bonding in multicultural Singapore. Set in the 1970s, the play spans over two days in the lives of those living in the Public Utilities Board’s (PUB) staff quarters during National Day celebrations. Witness heartening nation-building as the different communities share in their multi-cultural traditions and stand united against trials and tribulations.
