Negroni fans, rejoice! Campari is teaming up with Imbibe magazine to launch Singapore’s first-ever Negroni week. Tapping into the demand for one of the world’s favourite cocktails, #NegroniWeek aims to raise money for charities in local communities.
Happening from 1 to 7 June 2015, bars and restaurants across the island will donate a portion of their proceeds of Negronis’ to their chosen charities: Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall (Fei Yue Community Services), Bitters & Love (Save Pur Street Dogs), Tess Bar & Kitchen (The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund), KU DÉ TA (Unicef Nepal), Manhattan (Run for Hope), and The Secret Mermaid (Make a Wish Foundation). Now you no longer have to feel guilty when you order that fourth glass of Negroni.
Not a fan of the traditional apéritif? Fret not – there will be unique concoctions of the cocktail mix too, including a Cheng Tng version at Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall and a Pandan leaf-infused Negroni from Tess Bar & Kitchen.
Started in USA, this third edition is the first to officially take place internationally. In 2014, $120,000 was collected in a year and has helped various communities around the globe.
