To commemorate the Singapore launch of non-profit children’s book publisher Magicbird Publishing, SPRMRKT has also organized a new series of three exhibitions which will feature a mix of three book illustrators’ personal works.
The series will begin with Malaysian artist and Magicbird co-founder C. K. Koh, followed by Malavika PC from Tamil Nadu whose illustrations are in a book by Ken Spillman and ending with award-winning Malaysian artist Khairul Azmir Shoib. Pop-up book sales and a reading of The Magic Bird will be held at SPRMRKT on the opening weekend of each exhibition.
