Being part of a multi-racial country has heaps of benefits – and the food (oh, don’t let us start) is simply one of it. As part of a celebration of Singapore’s colourful heritage, Slow Food presents its inaugural Kueh Appreciation Day.
Discover the different cooking methods behind local delicacies or meet the Heritage Heroes who have cemented our local culinary traditions. Come down and enjoy kueh (Malay word for cake) from six artisans of various ethnic groups – Eurasian, Hainanese, Hokkien, Teochew, Peranakan and Indian – and watch live demonstrations of them being made.
Registrations for the event will open on 15 June and closes on 23rd July or earlier should tickets be sold out. For more details, check this out.
