Traditional Malay Music and Wayang Kulit
Mention about museums in Singapore and one will usually think of the Singapore Art Museum or the National Museum.
However, there are other museums that delve deeper into our heritage and the roots of the 4 main races. The Malay Heritage Centre (MHC) is one such special museum. Watch the Malay Heritage Centre’s permanent galleries come alive with live performances of traditional music or enjoy a wayang kulit performance as our dalang tells the stories of Sang Kancil and his adventures. This programme is available only for group bookings. Registration and booking is required and has to be made at least 3 weeks before.
