International buffets in Singapore? Been there. Champagne brunches? Done that. All-you-can-eat barbecue with free-flowing booze? Get. Us. There. And by “there”, we mean Oasis restaurant at Grand Hyatt Singapore, which is getting us all riled up for their new buffet dinner featuring a scrumptious selection of juicy, grilled meats. The poolside setting and being surrounded by lush greenery sure don’t hurt, either.
Here’s the deal: Oasis at Grand Hyatt Singapore is offering a wide selection of freshly grilled meat and seafood prepared à la minute from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, daily. From the charcoal-fired grill are spectacular, hearty grub like grass fed flat iron steak garnished with garlic and thyme; rosemary lamb sausage with onion marmalade; and garlic butter Spencer Gulf sustainable leader prawns. There’s also an impressive salad spread to balance the meat-heavy meal. For those planning to head down on Friday and Saturday, you’re in luck: the buffet spread extends with a seafood bar as well as a wide array of grilled veg from the sizzling Mongolian grill on both days.
If buffets aren’t really your thing (really?), the dishes found on the buffet menu are also available à la carte. But this means you will be missing out on the free-flow cloudy bay sauvignon blanc, torbreck, woodcutter’s shiraz, tiger and heineken beer, margaritas, and soft drinks… who can say no to an endless supply of vino?
BBQ Buffet Dinner at Oasis is available daily from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at $98++ (incl. of free-flow alcoholic beverages). From Sun to Thur, dishes are platted and served fresh from the grill to the table, while on Fri and Sat, diners get to select food from the full buffet spread. Prices quoted are in Singapore dollars and exclusive of 7% service charge and prevailing government taxes.
