If you’ve been routinely scarfing down a sandwich at your desk, stop. Because a) you need your mid-day break to refuel, and b) there are some pretty darn good lunch specials at Clarke Quay that will keep both your appetite and your wallet happy. Let’s cut to the chase:
$10++
On a budget? Pop into Hooters Singapore and take your pick from the 10 main courses of wings, fish and chicken on offer. If you’re hankering for some local food but totally dreading the crowd at the hawker centre, head to Xiao Chen Gu Shi for their chicken rice set, which comes with four sides, a soup and a complimentary barley drink.
$15++
For a little more, you’ll get a heartier lunch (of course) from as many as 10 dining spots at Clarke Quay. Octapas has a wonderful Spanish option that includes a chilled tomato soup, a sandwich served with deep-fried potatoes in spicy tomato aioli and a soft drink. New restaurant McGettigan’s is also offering a substantial three-course, which you can choose bangers and mash, chicken Caesar salad, or nasi goreng as your main. With Japanese, Mexican, Thai, and Balinese food to feast on, there’s truly something for every taste.

$25++
OK, so you want something slightly fancier, but still kind to your monthly lunch budget (i.e. when you need to seal a business deal, or celebrating an occasion). This category will tick all those boxes. Try Peony Jade for all-you-can-eat Chinese lunch in an elegant setting, Fremantle Seafood Market for the freshest catch and finish off with a nice dessert, or go for some wicked pizzas at Motorino.
Park for free
Another reason why you should spend your precious lunch break at Clarke Quay: parking is free from Mondays to Fridays during 12pm to 3pm, excluding Public Holidays! CapitaStar members, don’t forget to scan your lunch receipts at Clarke Quay to be awarded with three times STAR$.
