The next Singapore Restaurant Week isn’t until October (groan!), but no need to strike fancy tables off your lunch or dinner plans just yet. Clarke Quay is bringing back a chance to steal a great meal with its first-ever Restaurant Week, and it means that, once again, you can munch on three to five courses for $35++ or $45++. Hurrah!

Fresh catch for less at Fremantle Seafood Market

So, what’s for lunch?

Well, it depends on your crave of the day! If you’re after some rich, heavily spiced Indian plates, drop in at RAS The Essence of India for its five-course set lunch at $35++, which comes with dishes like banajara kebab, lamb rogan gosht, boondhi raita and rasmalai. Those on a hunt for fresh seafood should make a beeline for Fremantle Seafood Market’s awesome three course ($35++) that includes lobster bisque to start, grilled sea perch and scallops or clams and mussels risotto as mains, and sticky date pudding for dessert.

Kuro Gyu Shabu Shabu’s drool worthy wage loin shabu shabu set, only at $45++ (!!)

On the dinner menu

Be it Mexican, Chinese, American or Japanese, there’s something for every taste at Clarke Quay. We have our eyes on The Pump Room’s three-course set – it includes a seafood medley of escargot, tiger prawn and smoked salmon as appetizer, an Australian grain-fed rib eye or a seabass meuniere for mains, and a petit four garden (French financier, macaron and pandan-infused pannacotta served on chocolate soil) to finish. Tempting, too, is Kuro Gyu Shabu Shabu’s premium wagyu loin set, consisting of appetizer, a shabu shabu set with shirobuta pork belly, wagyu minced balls, an assortment of vegetables, noodles or rice, and Japanese flavoured ice cream for dessert. If these dining specials don’t spell great value in big capitals letters for you, we don’t know what will. Plus, other than these fab restaurants we’ve just mentioned, there are 13 other outlets to choose from!

Happy eating!

Clarke Quay Restaurant Week is happening from 20 April till 3 May 2015, and you can be certain that restaurants at the popular riverside destination will be crowded – and particularly so during this campaign. So, it’s probably wise to make your reservations early. For more details on the wonderful, two week long foodie event, visit Clarke Quay Restaurant Week’s website.
