Brunch Singapore | Best Brunches | Honeycombers Singapore

Brunch – the only reason we drag our butts out of bed at 10am on the weekend. Are you looking to go elsewhere other than your usual haunt to get your eggs Benny and pancake fix? Here are 10 newish brunches to check out.

Artichoke

Trust Bjorn Shen – the wackiest chef we know – to whip up Middle Eastern-influenced dishes your taste buds won’t let you forget. The menu’s ever-changing, but to give you an idea of what to expect, items like a crazily-stacked smoked salmon pancake with Jim Beam-infused sour cream, and a sujuk sausage menemen (Turkish wet omelette) have graced the menu.
Artichoke, Sculpture Square, 161 Middle Road, Singapore 188978, p. 6336 6949.

Super Loco

Fancy a Mexican brunch? One of our favourite spots, Super Loco, puts out amazing creations, like huevos rancheros (can’t forget that classic), a steak breakfast burrito, a pulled pork torta, and the must-try blue corn cake.
Super Loco, #01-13 The Quayside, 60 Robertson Quay, Singapore 238252, p. 6235 8900.

ArtistryArtistry

Artistry

Artistry is a multi-concept space (mostly for creative works), but they do serve great grub that’s not to be missed. With items like a peanut butter and jelly French toast and Belgian waffles on the menu, can you really resist?
Artistry, 17 Jalan Pinang, Singapore 199149, p. 6298 2420.

The Lokal

Modelled after famous Melbourne joint Pope Joan, The Lokal offers plenty of Aussie-inspired creations. The pork belly and broken omelette breakfast burger is a real hit, but if you’d like to customise your own brunch special, you can choose from the extensive list of sides. Handmade ricotta, poached eggs, toasted pumpernickel, dry-cured bacon… you’re going to have to make some big decisions. Also, fab coffee from sister outlet Sarnies is available here.
The Lokal, 136 Neil Road, Singapore 088865, p. 6423 9918.

CocotteCocotte

Cocotte

Grab whatever you want off Cocotte’s brunch trolleys and don’t hold back – it’s free flow after all! As it moves from table to table, keep an eye out for French-inspired sweets and savouries, from roast pork collar and poulet roti to specials like a croque monsieur and banana bread with Chantilly cream.
Cocotte, 2 Dickson Road, Singapore 209494, p. 6298 1188.

Ronin

This hidden gem has no signage nonewhatsoever, so if you aren’t actively looking for the café, chances are, you’ll walk right past the space on HongKong Street. Try the super fluffy brioche French toast with braised apples and bacon, and for coffee, order either The Wicked (mocha with mint) or the Matchatone (green tea latte).
Ronin, 17 Hong Kong Street, Singapore 059660.

ManhattanManhattan

Manhattan

Get ready for a boozy Sunday brunch at this swanky hotel bar. Decadent stuff like smoked foie gras with onion rings, bacon and eggs, freshly shucked oysters, mini bagels, and cinnamon raisin sticky buns await you, but all that’s not complete without a DIY glass of Bloody Mary.
Manhattan, 2/F Regent Singapore, 1 Cuscaden Road, Singapore 249715, p. 6725 3377.

The Missing Pan

Makers of fresh, organic artisanal breads, The Missing Pan is our go-to spot for comforting Western brunch classics. The eggs Benedict is a crowd-pleaser (you can choose to have it with crackling pork belly or salmon gravlax), and if you’ve got little ones with you, they’ll love the French toast.
The Missing Pan, 619D Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 269724, p. 6466 4377.

The BeastThe Beast

The Beast

Chicken and waffles, pulled pork hash, bacon maple-glazed donuts, a mac and cheese burger – these are just some of the sinful Southern treats you can feast on at The Beast, a bourbon bar in the Bugis area. Don’t forget to order some sweet tea!
The Beast, 17 Jalan Klapa, Singapore 199329, p. 6295 0017.

One Man Coffee

For serious coffee lovers, try this cafe’s blends and beans from Melbourne’s Axil Coffee Roasters. As for the nosh, the brioche French toast with homemade berry jam and cream is always good, but you can also choose to have one of the butter croissant items, or the Big Brekkie for a mish-mash of the best breakfast items.
One Man Coffee, 215R Upper Thomson Road, Singapore 574349, p. 9658 1685.
