The Projector presents the Coen Brothers series. The award-winning and talented director duo have amassed a cult following and won numerous Oscars and awards over their lengthy filmmaking careers.
it’s no surprise why – their signature style of lacing wry humour into the screenplays, stunning cinematography and highly demanding production standards have earned them much respect from industry players and fans. Of their 16 features, eight will be showcased at the Projector including Raising Arizona and No Country for Old Men. A special night will be entirely dedicated to cult favourite and legendary The Big Lebowski. Filmgoers are invited to come dress as their favourite characters – with a White Russian in hand, of course – on 21 March. The Coen Brothers series will be screened from 10 March to the end of the month.
