Turns out our idea of a perfect post-work evening is right up at the top of One Raffles Place. 1-Altitude has recently launched Sundown Affair, and it’s a glorious soiree with endless sunset, summery cocktails, jazzy beats, and a killer view to boot.
Between 6 and 8pm is when you’re going to want to head up to the city’s highest rooftop bar for a taste of this sublime daily session. For $30, you get a refreshing Passionate Mist cocktail, in addition to a housepour drink, plus an unbeatable top-of-the-world feeling. Chef Christopher Millar has also rolled out a menu of fresh bites to feed your post-work hunger pangs, with gobble-worthy things like Kobe beef sliders with spiced tomato jam, Vietnamese style summer rolls with prawn, chicken and spicy chili crab dipping sauce, and salmon and crunchy parmesan pops.
On the decks is global electronic music DJ and producer Lindo Martinez to complete the exquisite sundown experience. Your ears are in good hands, too – the affable Dutch has played his signature Nu-deephouse, vocal house and jazz mix at world-renowned spots including Berlin’s Loveparade, Holland’s Escape and Paradiso, as well as Thailand’s Siam Bar.
