IKEA Christmas trees are a good budget alternative to the higher quality nursery option. Choose between 1.6m or 2m options, stick on a base, and Bob’s your uncle. Pay $74 for small and $109 for medium.

Corona Florist & Nursery specialises more in landscaping, but they bring in 5ft to 8ft firs for the festive season. Stocks race out the door so be quick.

Prince’s Landscape and Construction is THE place to go for the wow factor this Christmas. Order online your tree of choice 4ft-20ft (if you live in a department store and have a spare $11,256 lying around the house). They can also decorate on your behalf.
